How Kredia is organized
Agencies, team roles, clients and their connected social accounts. The building blocks you work with every day in Kredia.
Kredia helps social media agencies plan, approve and publish content for their clients on Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, Threads and more, from one place. Everything in Kredia fits into four building blocks: your agency, your team, your clients, and each client's connected accounts.
Your agency
The agency is your workspace. It holds your team, your clients and everything you publish for them. The person who creates the agency becomes its Owner.
- Sign-up is by invitation only for now.
- You can belong to more than one agency and switch between them. Each agency sees only its own clients and posts.
- New agencies start on the Free plan, which includes one team seat.
Your team and roles
Everyone on the team has one role in the agency:
| Role | What they can do |
|---|---|
| Owner | Everything, including deleting the agency. Only the Owner can invite Admins. The Owner's posts skip approval. |
| Admin | Everything an Editor can do, plus managing the team, setting each client's approval rules and deleting clients. |
| Editor | Creates, edits, schedules and publishes posts, and works with media, campaigns, tasks and ads. |
| Viewer | Sees everything, but can't change anything. |
Each teammate uses a seat. On the Free plan the Owner is the only seat.
Clients
A client is a business you manage social media for. You add clients on the Customers page. Each client has:
- A name and an email address. Use the client's real inbox: Kredia sends client portal sign-in codes and connection links to that address.
- Their own connected social accounts (see below).
- Their own approval rules: who has to approve a post before it goes out.
Clients can sign in to the client portal with a one-time code sent to that email. Today the portal shows which accounts are connected and lets the client connect Instagram, Facebook or TikTok. Posts and approvals are not in the portal yet.
Connected accounts
Kredia publishes through each network's official API, so every client account has to be connected once. You connect accounts from the client's card on the Customers page (Connect Social Media). For Instagram, Facebook and TikTok you can also email the client a link so they connect the account themselves; Kredia never sees their password.
A connection can expire. The account then shows Expired — reconnect, and Kredia can't publish to it until someone reconnects it. For a step-by-step example, see How to connect Instagram.
From draft to published
- Someone with the Editor role or above writes a post: they pick the client, one or more of the client's platforms, the media and the caption.
- They schedule it for a date and time, or publish it right away.
- If the client's approval rules require it, the post waits in Approvals until an approver signs off. By default each client needs one approval from an Admin, so an Editor's posts wait for an Admin, while the Owner's posts go straight through.
- At the scheduled time Kredia publishes the post to each platform. The Scheduling calendar shows every post and its status.
