# How to invite teammates

Invite your colleagues from the **Team** page. Kredia emails each person a link to join your agency with the role you choose. You can resend, copy or cancel an invitation until it's accepted.

## Before you start

- **You're the Owner or an Admin.** Other roles don't see the **Team** page.
- **Only the Owner can invite Admins.** Admins can invite Editors and Viewers.
- **You have a free team seat.** Every member, including the Owner, and every pending invitation uses a seat. The Free plan includes 3 seats. See [Plans and team seats](https://kredia.io/help/en/billing-and-plans/plans-and-seat-limits).

## Invite someone

1. Open **Team** in the sidebar.
2. Under **Invite a new team member**, enter the person's email address.
3. Choose their role: **Admin**, **Editor** or **Viewer**. See [Roles and permissions](https://kredia.io/help/en/team-and-roles/roles-and-permissions).
4. Click **Send invitation**. Kredia confirms that the invitation email was sent.
5. The invitation appears under **Pending invitations** until the person accepts it.

The person has to register, or sign in, with the exact address you invited. Invitations expire after 7 days. See [How to join an agency from an invitation](https://kredia.io/help/en/getting-started/accept-a-team-invite).

## Manage invitations and members

- **Resend invite** sends the email again and gives the invitation another 7 days.
- **Copy link** copies the invitation link, so you can send it another way.
- **Revoke invite** cancels the invitation and frees its seat.
- To change a member's role, pick a new role in their row. To take someone off the team, click **Remove**.

## What can go wrong

- **"Your Free plan includes 3 team seats (including pending invites)".** All seats are in use. Revoke invitations nobody needs anymore, or see [Can't invite a teammate](https://kredia.io/help/en/troubleshooting-and-platform-limits/cant-invite-teammate).
- **"Invite created, but the email couldn't be sent".** Click **Copy link** and send the link yourself.
- **"Only the agency owner can invite admins".** Invite the person as an Editor, and ask the Owner to change their role later.
- **"This person is already a member of the agency".** They're already on the team; look for them under **Active team members**.
