# How to create your agency

Your agency is your workspace in Kredia: it holds your team, your clients and everything you publish for them. Whoever creates the agency becomes its **Owner**. It takes less than a minute.

## Before you start

- **You're signed in to Kredia.** Kredia is invite-only for now. If Kredia invited you to open an agency, use the link in that email to create your account first.
- **You don't need to belong to an agency yet.** When your account isn't part of any agency, Kredia takes you straight to the screen where you create or join one.
- **To join an existing team instead,** open the invitation link you received. See [How to join an agency from an invitation](https://kredia.io/help/en/getting-started/accept-a-team-invite).

## Create the agency

1. On the welcome screen, choose **Create agency**.
2. Enter the **Agency name**. This is the only required field.
3. Optionally add your **Industry** and a **Contact email** for the agency.
4. Click **Create agency & go to dashboard**.
5. Kredia shows that your agency is ready and opens its dashboard.

You can change the name, industry and contact email later in **Settings**.

## What happens next

- **Your agency starts on the Free plan,** which includes 3 team seats, counting you and any pending invitations. See [Plans and team seats](https://kredia.io/help/en/billing-and-plans/plans-and-seat-limits).
- **If Kredia gave you a design-partner code,** redeem it in **Settings** to switch to the Design Partner plan. See [How to redeem a design-partner code](https://kredia.io/help/en/billing-and-plans/redeem-a-design-partner-code).
- **Next, add your first client.** See [How to go from a new agency to your first scheduled post](https://kredia.io/help/en/getting-started/first-scheduled-post).

## What can go wrong

- **The screens are in English.** The create-agency screens don't switch to Hebrew yet, even if you chose Hebrew.
- **"Agency name is required".** Enter a name before you click the button.
- **You see a list of agencies instead.** You already belong to more than one agency. Pick one to work in, or click **Set up a new agency**.
